![]() But as of today, my financial institution stated that there was no charge as of yet. I have stated a refund to settle this dispute, in case a charge is made, and I do have a copy of the invoice the company sent. ![]() I did contact my bank to ensure no financial loss will be made, but again if this company still has access to my computer, I am not confident of this remaining true. Overall, the phone call was an invasion on privacy and now I have to go in to have my laptop checked for privacy concerns. He also asked how many are using the computer and stated that the invoice amount was high for the service. ![]() ![]() And, the response when I told the rep I was no longer interested in their help, the rep's with more of a threatening tone stated 'your computer is already being. Not trusting the phone number listed on the invoice, I went online to look up the company's contact information, and again believing the site at least to be legite, I called and was connected to a customer service ********** when the customer rep ************ was able to get access to my computer and clicked on the opened email on my screen from their end, I knew this was not how they should be doing business. On 6/12/23 I recieved an emailed invoice stating that this amount will be deducted from my banking institution in the amount of $492.80 claiming to be from Norton LifeLock. Since I am aware of several scams, I deleted the email not having never done any business with this company. I received an email stating that a purchase of $492.80 was received from my banking institution.
